Bluetrain, an award-winning digital marketing agency, is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Associate who will work with the Bluetrain team to plan and implement digital marketing strategies for our clients. The Digital Marketing Associate role will support the Bluetrain team in delivering quality work across multiple clients and channels of social media, online advertising, web analytics and search engine optimization. The role requires a strong desire to deliver results, an appetite for continual improvement, and a desire to learn. Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Director of Strategy and Operations your primary duties will include:

  • Working with Bluetrain team members to complete & implement digital marketing plans
  • Managing social media advertising campaigns
  • Writing landing page and ad campaign copy
  • Performing keyword research for paid search and content opportunities (organic)
  • Reviewing social and web analytics for site improvement opportunities
  • Creating monthly reports for clients
  • Working with email marketing and landing page platforms
  • Working with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
  • Making minor changes to client websites using a CMS
  • Performing outreach to third party publishers/websites as needed
  • Compiling competitor analysis reports
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends by researching and reading
  • Joining client meetings to present deliverables
  • Bachelor degree or diploma in Marketing or Business, or equivalent
Experience and Skills
  • 1-2 years digital marketing experience is an asset
  • Familiarity with Analytics, WordPress, and email marketing platform(s) is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be fully versed in Excel and Word
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and work efficiency
  • Understand client relationship management (internal or external clients)
  • Self-starter with demonstrated initiative and problem solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail
