A Bit More

Jodie came to the Bluetrain team with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Marketing. While completing her education, she devoted her time to the executive committees of both the University of Alberta Marketing Association and the Rocky Mountain Business Seminar. After graduating, Jodie worked in event planning, program management, and marketing before finding Bluetrain.

Jodie’s first position at Bluetrain was as an Account Manager where she worked with clients such as the Ryerson MBA Program, Law Depot, NAIT, First Foundation, and the Canadian Patient Safety Institute. After over 2 years as an Account Manager, then Project Manager, Jodie has now taken a leadership role as Director of Accounts and Projects. Her role is focused on overseeing Bluetrain’s workflow, supporting the account management team, and managing large client projects and site redevelopments. Jodie has lead successful projects for EPCOR, Alberta Milk, Benevity, Alberta Distance Learning Centre, and Athabasca University. To date, Jodie has worked with over 35 clients at Bluetrain and helped launch more than 20 websites.

In her free time, Jodie can be found on the volleyball court or on the couch catching up on her favorite TV shows. An avid traveler, Jodie has seen five continents and all seven of the new wonders of the world. Jodie is always planning her next adventure and she would love to hear about your favorite places around the world.
