In a 20+ year marketing career (6 of them with Bluetrain) Shauna has helped develop marketing and brand strategies, online and offline, across a wide range of industries.
Shauna is passionate about marketing and building positive, productive relationships with clients. She enjoys collaborating with the Bluetrain team to develop strategies or solutions that will deliver results, and strongly believes that understanding a client’s business and their goals is fundamental to developing a successful online marketing plan.
Shauna jumped into her marketing career while completing her Commerce degree from U of A at night, and has never looked back. Shauna has been a Marketing Director in the competitive shopping centre industry, managed Client Services & Accounts within multiple agencies and spent 6 years as Director of Marketing and Promotions for the Edmonton Sun (part of the Sun Media national newspaper chain).
Shauna’s diverse experience includes managing million-dollar marketing budgets, media buying, strategic partnership and sponsorship development, developing and implementing advertising campaigns and promotions, strategic planning and online strategy.
Outside of work Shauna treasures quality time with her husband and two kids and can often be found reading a book, enjoying wine with a friend, or running kids to their next activity.
